Our goals...
I. Investigate UFO sightings and collect the data in the MUFON Database for use by researchers worldwide.
II. Promote research on UFOs to discover the true nature of the phenomenon, with an eye towards scientific breakthroughs, and improving life on our planet.
III. Educate the public on the UFO phenomenon and its potential impact on society.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT
Hello everyone, past, present and future. Today I am making an official announcement effective immediately that I am stepping down as the National Director of MUFON Canada. I have been in Mufon for 10 years and the experience has been both wonderful and exciting. I have met so many people and I appreciate all that everyone has given to MUFON. Effective today Eric Tessier has been promoted to National Director.
Like the changing of the guard, or a new captain, I know Eric will continue to guide this team in new directions and help get us back to better numbers. On that note I will be taking the role of special advisor and will continue to recruit new members and investigators. Linda Rafuse will be taking on the responsibilities of training new investigators. I know they are in capable hands. Eric will be looking at the overall organization and perhaps moving people into new roles. We have suffered big losses due to COVID.
My decision was based on a few medical problems and the need to get my life back in order and ready (if ever) for retirement. Perhaps I will have time then to contribute more. I am embarking on a new company, a health-related startup which I hope will allow me to slow down and eventually retire.
There is so much more I could say, after all 10 years is a lot in a volunteer org. I will keep it short and simple and ask that everyone give Eric the support that you have given me in the past. Good luck to all and keep pushing for disclosure (Big D!!)
